1. What is Supplier Failure Cover?
Supplier Failure Cover is an insurance policy which protects you. In the event of the insolvency of one or more suppliers you will receive a 100% refund on the cost incurred on the booking as set out below. With Supplier Failure Cover all bookings are 100% protected up to the maximum sum insured of £500 per person.
2. What do you mean by 'Supplier'?
We consider a supplier to be the provider of your accommodation. This means that the accommodation part of your holiday booked with us (TGG Travel Ltd) is covered in the event of insolvency of any supplier providing your accommodation service, be it the end supplier on whose behalf we advertise their properties, or us (TGG Travel Ltd).
3. Do I still need travel insurance?
Supplier Failure Cover offers additional protection and is not an alternative to a standard travel insurance policy. You will need to purchase travel insurance in addition to this cover. If you are planning on taking part in adventure activities or winter sports on your holiday please ensure you have adequate cover.
4. If I have travel insurance, do I need Supplier Failure Cover?
Many travel insurance policies do not cover the insolvency of a company that is providing you with a component of your holiday To ensure you are completely financially protected you will need to take Supplier Failure Cover in addition to your standard travel insurance policy.
5. What is not covered by Supplier Failure Cover?
The policy will not cover costs if you decide against travelling or any costs which are refundable or recoverable from companies bonded or insured elsewhere. Costs mentioned in the General Exclusions will also not be covered - see your policy wording.
6. What do I do in the event of a supplier going into liquidation
